Terms of use and refunds

Version 2026-10 · applies to the Kashmeta web campus, the Meta Quest app, the plans page and the teacher portal. Please read it together with the privacy notice.

Kashmeta SMC Private Limited ("Kashmeta", "we") runs the Kashmeta Metaverse Medical Campus, a simulated hospital for healthcare education. By using the campus or buying a plan you agree to these terms. Institutions that buy a package may also have a written agreement with us; where it differs, the agreement applies.

What the campus is

• A place to learn and practise: simulations, cases, practice questions and AI characters are for education and training only. They are not medical advice and do not replace supervised clinical training.
• Every patient and case is fictional. AI characters can make mistakes; check important facts with your teachers and textbooks.
• Practice questions are original and written in the style of licensing exams. Kashmeta is not affiliated with or endorsed by the organisations that run those exams (for example the FSMB and NBME for USMLE®).

Free demo, plans and codes

• Every visitor gets a free demo of the whole campus. After it, the free parts stay open and Kashmeta Pro opens everything else.
• Student plans are one-time payments for the number of days shown (31 days, 3 months or a year). They do not renew by themselves unless the checkout page clearly says so.
• A student code works on up to 3 of your own devices. Institution codes work for the number of students in the package until the end date. Please do not sell or publish codes: we may switch off codes that are shared beyond that.

Payments

• Prices are shown in US dollars, or in a local currency where the plans page shows one. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on your country.
• Online payments (card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay) are processed by our payment provider on its own secure page; its terms apply to the payment itself, and Kashmeta never receives your card details.
• For bank transfers and other manual payments, Pro starts when we have confirmed your transfer, usually within one working day.
• Institutions pay by invoice as agreed in their quote.

Refunds

• Student plans: if Kashmeta Pro is not right for you, write to team@kashmeta.io within 14 days of your payment and we will refund it in full. Please include your payment reference.
• Institution packages: as set out in your quote or agreement. The free pilot costs nothing.
• If something does not work, tell us first: most problems can be fixed quickly, and we can extend your access for time lost to a fault on our side.
• Refunds go back the way you paid. Your local consumer law may give you more rights; nothing here limits them.

Fair use

• Follow the Community Rules. Be respectful in shared sessions, voice and chat. No harassment, hate speech or sharing of unlawful content.
• Never enter real patient information. Do not copy, scrape or resell the campus content, or try to break or bypass its security or the paywall.
• Moderators may remove from the campus, suspend or ban anyone who breaks these rules. If you think a decision is a mistake, write to kashmeta.nstp@gmail.com.

Content and availability

• The campus, its simulations, cases, questions and designs belong to Kashmeta or its licensors. Cases that an institution writes or commissions belong to that institution as agreed.
• We work to keep the campus available and improving, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, and features may change. If we ever have to close a paid service, we will refund the unused part of your plan.
• To the extent the law allows, Kashmeta is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for a plan is limited to what you paid for it in the last 12 months.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the version at the top when we do; important changes for paying users are announced in the campus. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, where Kashmeta is registered, without taking away rights that your local consumer law gives you.
